What this site collects when you get in touch, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted.

Who we are

What we collect, and when

This site has no accounts, no logins and no payments, so there is no profile of you here. There are three ways information reaches us, and each one is something you choose to do.

When you email us

If you write to hello@agentplace.co.uk we hold your message, your email address and anything you put in it, for as long as we may still be acting on it.

When you book a free consultation

The booking panel collects your name, your email address, the time you pick and the time zone your browser is set to. We send those to our booking provider, which makes the booking, puts it in our calendar and emails you the confirmation; the time zone goes with it so the confirmation reads in your own clock. We also keep a copy of the booking in our own records, so we know who we are speaking to and can follow up afterwards.

When you try the voice demo

The AI receptionist page has a demo you can talk to. Nothing happens until you press the call button and your browser asks for the microphone. Once you allow it, what you say is streamed to our voice provider, which runs the agent and turns speech into words and back again on its own systems and under its own terms. We do not control what that provider keeps or for how long, so please do not say anything down the demo you would not want handled on that basis — and there is no need to: it is a demonstration answering for an invented dental practice, not a real booking line. The agent tells you it is an AI, and calls end after three minutes.

What our host records

The site runs on a hosting provider. Like any web host, it records standard request information — your IP address, the browser and device you used, the page you asked for and when — in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

Cookies and analytics

We use an analytics service to count visits and see how people find and use the site: which pages they read and roughly where they came from. We use it only to improve the site, and its own advertising features are switched off. It sets cookies when you first visit, and the cookie notice says so. You can stop it at any time: choose Opt out on the notice, or use the button below, and nothing more is recorded from your browser. The site works the same either way. We rely on the exception in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations for cookies used only to collect statistics that improve a website (added by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025), and under the UK GDPR on our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used.

We also measure whether our adverts lead to visits and enquiries, through a tag manager that loads our advertising provider's measurement. Until you choose Accept on the cookie notice, it sets no advertising cookies and reads none: the advertising provider receives only a cookie-free signal that a page was viewed or an enquiry made, which tells us how our adverts perform overall and is not linked to you. If you choose Accept, it may set advertising cookies so that a visit can be matched to an advert you clicked. You can change your mind with the button below, which stops both the visit counting and the advert measurement.

Apart from that, the fonts and images are served from agentplace.co.uk itself rather than from anyone else's network, so apart from the visit counting and advert measurement above, simply reading a page sends nothing to a third party. The one exception is the voice demo above, which loads its software and connects to our voice provider when, and only when, you press the call button.

Why we are allowed to hold it

Under the UK GDPR we rely on two grounds. For an enquiry or a booking, our legitimate interest in answering someone who has asked us to get in touch and in running our business. For the microphone in the voice demo, your consent, which you give by allowing the microphone and can withdraw at any point by ending the call.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information, we do not share it for anyone else's advertising, and we do not add you to a marketing list from anything on this site. The only outside companies involved are the ones that make the site work:

Some of them process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, the transfer rests on the safeguards in that provider's own terms, such as the standard contractual clauses. We may also pass information on where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

An enquiry or a booking stays with us while we may still act on it and while we need the record of having done so. When it stops being useful we delete it, and you can ask us to delete it sooner.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over HTTPS, and the inbox, the calendar and our record of bookings are reachable only by the people who run Agent Place. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or hand it over in a portable form. You can object to our relying on legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent where we have relied on it. Email hello@agentplace.co.uk and we will answer within 30 days. There is nothing to pay and you do not need a reason.

If you think we have handled your information badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.

Children

Agent Place sells to businesses. The site is not meant for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect anything about children. If you think we have, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When our practices change, this page changes with them, and the "Last updated" date above moves. The current version is always the one at agentplace.co.uk/privacy.
