AI agents for recruitment agencies

What an AI agent does for a recruitment agency

An AI agent does one piece of an agency's work the way a member of staff would, inside rules the agency has written down for it. We build three that fit the way a recruitment agency wins and fills work: one finds companies hiring the roles you place, one answers job seekers' questions about your open roles, and one turns the jobs newsletter you already send into a LinkedIn carousel.

We build each one for you rather than selling you a product to configure yourself. You tell us how the work is done today and how you want it done; we build the agent, you watch it work on your real work, and we keep it running from then on. None of them screens, scores or ranks a candidate, and none of them sends anything in your agency's name: the judgement and the relationships stay with your consultants. If the job you have in mind is a different part of the agency, tell us on the consultation and we will say whether an agent can do it well.

New business, read out of the job ads

The recruitment agency lead generation agent finds companies that are hiring right now for the roles your agency places, and hands you the ones worth calling. A job ad is the one public signal that a company has the exact problem you solve, this week. Turning those ads into a pipeline means checking the boards every week, throwing out the companies you would never work with, and finding a real name behind every ad.

The agent searches job boards such as LinkedIn and Indeed, the applicant tracking systems companies post through and company careers pages, for the roles on your list. It keeps only recent ads and only the companies that match the clients you want, written down with you before it runs: size, sector, location and anything else you filter on. For each company it keeps, it researches revenue, headcount, industry and website, with a note of where each figure came from, and finds the people likely to own the hire, with names, titles, email addresses and LinkedIn profiles.

Every lead says how sure it is

An email address carries one of two labels. Verified means the address has been checked; Predicted means the agent built it from the company's email format and could not check it. A figure the agent could not find stays blank rather than being guessed, and a company you remove from the list stays removed: the agent skips it on every later search instead of finding it again next week.

The agent drafts a short first email to each contact, opening with the role their company is advertising. It never sends anything. A consultant opens the draft, rewrites whatever sounds wrong, and decides whether it goes at all, because an agency's reputation travels with every email sent in its name.

What the lead generation agent has done

We built it for Hoxton Circle, a recruitment firm that places senior finance leaders, mostly chief financial officers. On its first run, up to 1 November 2026, it found 34 companies hiring the roles the firm places, each one checked against the firm's own profile and with the people behind the role found. The Hoxton Circle case study shows what was built and what that first run found.

There is no placement figure yet. A first run is too early to count placements, so what the case study shows is the work itself: which companies the agent kept, what it found out about each one, and who it found behind each ad.

Job seekers answered from your live vacancies

The AI recruitment chatbot is a text chat on your website that answers job seekers' questions about the roles you are recruiting for. A candidate types what they are looking for, and the chatbot lists every role on your board that fits, with its title, location and pay as the listing states them and a link to the page where they can apply.

It answers from your vacancy listings and nothing else. Anything a listing does not state, such as start dates, benefits or sponsorship, it says it does not know and that one of your consultants can tell them once they apply. It never takes a CV in the chat; it sends the candidate to the application form on the role's own page, so every application still arrives where your team already works.

Your clients stay confidential

Many agencies keep the company behind a vacancy confidential, because a named client is one a candidate, or another agency, can approach directly. The chatbot describes the company behind a role only the way your listing describes it, and it never guesses, hints at or confirms a client's name, even when it is asked directly.

It also never tells a candidate whether they are a good fit, and never asks about or comments on age, race, religion, sex, disability, pregnancy, nationality or any other protected characteristic. That judgement belongs to your consultants, who know the client, the brief and the candidate.

We built one for Hoxton Circle that reads the thirty or so roles on their vacancies page. It runs on our own demo page, not on Hoxton Circle's website, so there is no figure to give you about it yet.

Your jobs newsletter, made into LinkedIn carousels

The AI LinkedIn carousel generator takes the jobs newsletter you already send and lays it out as a LinkedIn carousel in your own design: your cover slide, one card per role, your closing slide and a caption. It cuts each description to fit the slide at a whole sentence, leaves out what should not be public, salaries for example, and flags anything a person should check.

A person approves every carousel, and a person posts it on your company page. For Hoxton Circle it makes the "Jobs of the week" carousel the firm had been making by hand from its Featured Jobs newsletter. Its approval page shows one sample issue so far, and for now each issue is handed to the agent by hand.

Your candidates' and clients' data

We handle your data under UK GDPR, and we walk you through exactly where it goes on the consultation. The lead generation agent reads public job ads and company information; the chatbot reads only the vacancies you publish; the carousel agent reads only the newsletter you give it. Each one can only reach the tools and pages you approve, and you can withdraw that access at any time.

How we build it, and how long it takes

A wooden beehive with bees

We build the agent around your real work, and you see it working on that work before it does the job on its own. Here is how it runs.

  1. A 30-minute consultation. You tell us which roles you place and which clients you want, what your candidates keep asking, or what you already write, and where it goes wrong today. We tell you what we would build and give you the price.
  2. Scope. We write down with you the agent's rules: your ideal client and the roles you place, the questions the chatbot must hand to your team, or what never goes on a slide.
  3. Build. We build it around the places you already work: the job boards you search, the vacancies page you already publish, the newsletter you already send.
  4. Test. It runs on your real work, checked by us, until it gets it right. The lead generation agent runs on live job ads for your roles, the chatbot answers questions about your real vacancies, and the carousel agent works on an issue you have already sent.
  5. Live. It does the job on its own, and we keep it working.

A person on your team still sends every email, owns every candidate conversation that needs judgement, and approves and posts every carousel. Fully functioning and delivering value in 30 days guaranteed, or you pay nothing more until your agents are.

What it costs a recruitment agency

Agent Place charges one flat monthly fee for unlimited agents: the lead generation agent, the chatbot, the carousel agent, and any other you want after them, for the same fee, month to month. We give you the price on the call.

We set it on the consultation once we know what the agents must do and how much work they cover. The usage is in the fee, so you pay nothing per lead, per chat or per carousel, a busy month costs the same as a quiet one, and you can stop any month. Fully functioning and delivering value in 30 days guaranteed, or you pay nothing more until your agents are. The pricing on our homepage works the same way for every business we build for; there is no surcharge for recruitment agencies. What an AI agent costs sets out how that compares with the other ways of buying one.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an AI agent for a recruitment agency cost?

We charge one flat monthly fee for unlimited agents, month to month, so the lead generation agent, the chatbot and the carousel agent sit under the same fee. We give you the price on the call. The usage is in the fee, so you pay nothing per lead, chat or carousel, and you can stop any month. Fully functioning and delivering value in 30 days guaranteed, or you pay nothing more until your agents are.

Have you built these for a recruitment agency?

Yes: all three were built for Hoxton Circle, a recruitment firm that places finance leaders, and the Hoxton Circle case study shows them. On its first run, up to 1 November 2026, the lead generation agent found 34 companies hiring the roles the firm places.

Does it send emails to hiring managers on its own?

No. The lead generation agent drafts a first email to each contact, and a consultant reads it, changes it and decides whether it goes.

Does the chatbot screen or rank candidates?

No. It answers questions about your open roles from your listings, never tells anyone whether they fit, and sends them to your application form, so every hiring judgement stays with your consultants.

Will the chatbot name the clients we recruit for?

No. It describes the company behind a role only the way your listing does, and never guesses, hints at or confirms a client's name, even when asked directly.

Does it replace our consultants?

No. It does the reading, researching and repeating nobody has time for, and leaves your consultants the clients, the candidates and every decision about who is right for a role.
